Hosting site internally for our intranet and temp directory not having garbage collection ran on it and therefore once the folder gets enough files the physical memory starts climbing then I have to bounce the server to get it back.

Do you have any suggestions on settings for the application pool, recycling?
and for anytyhing else that should be configured

I'm running iis7 and php 5.4

I unfortunately don't have any experience with Windows hosting :(

Does this sound like the same problem you are facing?
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3354622/wcf-service-vs-iis-7-0-vs-iis7-5

And is this WordPress you are running on the intranet or another application? I can probably ping a friend at a windows host or two to check too but let me know a little more details.

No problem, can I get a little more info on what is happening?

Is temp just filling up and with what? Can you give semi specific file names and more description of the problem it is causing?

This might do it:

I believe if you change that setting it should clean those out...
