I have a shop set up ( http://metro-wash.net/shop/ ). When you go to exchange settings -> pages tab

The product base option requires me to use the url:  domain.com/product/ironman-training-plan
is there a way for me to make it use: domain.com/shop/ironman-training-plan   ?

This has to be fixed for me to transfer my entire shop to ithemes exchange....

thanks, Trenton

Hi Trenton,

Unfortunately the product page type cannot be changed in Exchange.  So you do have to use /product/product-name when you create products in Exchange.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Elise

Hey Trenton,

Sorry, I think I misunderstood your question when I answered initially.

You can't change the Page Type for the Product pages.  However, if you go into Exchange > Settings > Pages, you can change the Product page title and slug.  So you could have the url /shop/product-name.

That being said, you can't have the same slug for both your store page and your product page; each slug has to be unique.  So if the store page slug is "shop," you'll have to choose another slug for your product page.

Sorry again if I misunderstood your original question.  Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Elise
