Is there a way for us to configure the sidebar widget so that people can do things like, for example, take customers back to the store or proceed on to checkout, etc?

Thanks,
Michele

Hi MIchele,

yes there is a way, you can create your own theme template for Exchange, see the documentation here: http://ithemes.com/codex/page/Exchange_Themes_Overview

We are working on some samples, In the mean time, can you add a link to your site, and the page and location where you would want this to show up, so we may be able to provide further instructions,
Ronald

Here is a link to a page where I am using the exchange widget (below Contact Me) in the sidebar:

I will also take a look at the Exchange Themes Overview as you suggest.

Thanks.

I've visited the link you specify:

http://ithemes.com/codex/page/Exchange_Themes_Overview#Exchange_Pages

and have followed the instructions there. I'm not a coder, so waiting for further instruction on how to make the exchange widget do more things.

Update on this - when I added the page.php and product.php files, My product details would not show up, instead it gave me a weird line of code, so I deleted those pages.

Thanks.
