hi there

I would like to sell wine club membership with Exchange. I do not need a downloaded product, so I assume I can just create a "product" (which would be the wine club membership) have it paid w/PayPal, and then the vendor will ship out the wines.

however: I created a test product here:

http://leafandvine.com/blog/wp-admin/post.php?post=1809&action=edit

and when the Pay with PayPal button is clicked, it goes here (the website home page):

http://leafandvine.com/blog/

I need it to go to PayPal of course.

can you help?

thanks!!
Elaine

Hi Elaine,

Can you link to the product that you are having issues with?  The post link you included is the edit link that I would use if I were an admin and editing the product, not a link to the actual product.

Thanks,

Elise

Hi Elaine,

Thanks for the url.

Can you try deactivating all your plugins except for Exchange and then see if making the purchase then directs you to PayPal?  That will allow us to see if there is a conflict with another plugin.  If it does work correctly with all other plugins deactivated, reactivate the other plugins one at a time, testing Exchange each time to see which plugin is creating the conflict.

Give that a try and then let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

Elise

Hi Elise,
There were two plugins that caused the problem:

1. Permalink Redirect by Joost
2. Ultimate Twitter Profile plugin

The WordPress SEO by Joost plugin did not cause a conflict (interestingly enough).

So, now the PAY WITH PAYPAL button IS going to the PayPal account.

Thank you so much for your help!!

(Moving forward, I have another question on another subject, same website, that I will post in a new thread.)

Elaine
