Looking to transfer an existing GoDaddy site on a shared hosting plan using a .info domain to a different GoDaddy shared host and switching the domain to a .com. Can I use Backup Buddy to do the transfer? Any problems/hurdles when working with GoDaddy shared hosting Wordpress sites?

Thank you.

Hi Peter,

All domain extensions (tld's) work the same so should be able to use BackupBuddy like normal.

Thanks,

Backupbuddy recommends not to host with godaddy and so do I.. But that aside I've used Backupbuddy on godaddy (Linux Servers) and I usually far pretty well its just going to be slow just like everything on there servers.
