I Have 4 Plugins With The Same Problem

I was able to update backup buddy, but the issue remains with boom bar, exchange, tailored login, video showcase, and going thru the delete, download, install is nto working on them.

When you use the WordPress manual upload of zip installation method you must have previously deleted the current plugin installation which you can normally do through the WordPress plugin admin - after deactivating the plugin you then get a delete link for the plugin and you can use that to delete the plugin before doing the upload installation (and really you should do this or the equivalent when doing an installation by uploading the plugin folder through ftp otherwise you may end up with a combination of files from both versions of the plugin). It's only the automatic update that automatically removes the existing plugin version before replacing it with the updated version, thanks.
