I am wondering if LoopBuddy will help me solve an issue I'm having.

I am setting up a magazine site and have 2 custom post types ADS & EDITORIALS.

Each of the post types share 3 taxonomies: CATEGORIES, LOCATION & SUPPLIER

I would like to be able to setup the system so I can click on a CATEGORY and see a list of all posts (both ADS and EDITORIALS) which belong to that category.

Same goes with clicking on a location or supplier.

Also, do I need to be running an iThemes template for LoopBussy to work?

Thanks for your advice.

Cheers, Dan

Hi Dan,

LoopBuddy allows you to create queries that will allow you to display your posts based on certain criteria, including things like post type and categories.

You do not have to use an iThemes theme in order for LoopBuddy to work.  Your theme does need to use the Loop Standard.  If your theme doesn't, you can modify it.  You can read more about how to do this in the LoopBuddy Codex.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.
