Importing Products Into Exchange
Posted 29 October 2013 - 03:49 PM
Thanks for such an easy to set up cart / shopping system.
Is there a way to import products from an existing database in to Exchange? I've looked at the WordPress database, and see that products are added as posts (as Exchange uses custom post types) and thought that we might be able to import into that table. However, then I saw the GUID field and it looks like it is generated by the Exchange plugin.
Any ideas? We have a customer with a lot of products and would like to transition to Exchange if possible.

There isn't a way to do this in Exchange at this time. It has been added as a feature request on our Exchange Roadmap. You are welcome to vote on the feature requests there.
