Hi Claire,

Do you have a coupon code I can use to make a test purchase?  You can PM the code to me here on the forum or email it to me at elise@ithemes.com.  Just include a link to this post so I know what the message is in regards to.

Thanks,

Elise

Hi Claire,

So I just made the purchase on you site and I received my customer receipt email just fine.  You should have received a Sales Notification email.  Did you receive that?  And did you receive any other emails about the purchase?

Let me know what emails you received.

Thanks,

Elise

Elise,
Thanks,
1. I received the notification that a sale had been made.
2. I received no other emails.
3. Then, I went into the transactions section of "Users" and resent the "Confirmation" email to you.
And it came to me instead.

The customer who did not receive an of the confirmation emails made her purchase through Paypal..Yours was a zero sum checkout.

Attached shows the confirmation email that I received thanking me for YOUR order-using my name, but your order #

I'll have to repeat this experiment using different purchase permutations to see under which circumstances it repeats.

Claire

Hey Claire,

Just so I can verify what's going on - you said in your original post that it was happening at purchase AND when you resend the confirmation email.  Is that correct or is it just happening when resending the confirmation email?  Is it only happening when using the PayPal payment type?  And which PayPal add-on are you using, Standard or Standard Secure?

I've been trying to replicate this on my site, but have been unable to do so.  Any additional details you can give would be helpful.

Thanks,

Elise
