I recently migrated a WordPress site using a free backup plugin, and it did not properly "escape" the single quotes in my post content. The result left these posts only partially complete, all text after a single quote was lost.  It also changed dashes from long style to short style dashes which was undesireable.

My question, does Backup Buddy have the capability to handle these two issues in the correct fashion?  I will be backing up a WordPress 3.4.2 install and migrating it to version 3.8 on Web Synthesis.

Hi Brian,

BackupBuddy should be fine on both of them.

Thanks,
