Hi,

I have only the guest checkout available so the customer begins his checkout procedure by entering his/her email address. But the email address doesn't appear anywhere: not on the payment email notification (I searched for the email address shortcode to add it to the receipt, but no luck) or payment details page (the customer's name and address are listed on the payment details screen, but no email address).

Would adding the customer's email address on the payment details screen (or anywhere else) be possible?

Thanks,
Carol

Hi Carol,

Adding the customer's email address to emails isn't an option at this time in Exchange.  It has, however, been added as a feature request which you can vote for on the Exchange Roadmap.

On the confirmation page, though, you should see the customer's email address, even when using the Guest Checkout option.

And you should see it on the Payment Details page, too.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Hi Elise,

Don't have access to the confirmation page, it's on a live site with real customer data (first sale with Exchange!).

The payment details page does not have that information, only a "Deleted Customer" with an "Unknown" email address. Any idea what is going on?
