I was wondering if there was a way to move the products in the store. It appears that they are displayed as they were entered, but I would like to be able to move the first one entered to the first product displayed. Is that an option without deleting all products and reentering them.
Thanks.

Hi Rob,

Unfortunately, this isn't an option in Exchange at this time.  It has, however, been added as a feature request which you can vote for on the Exchange Roadmap.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Elise

Hi,

there is a way to change the sequence by overriding the default "order" in which WordPress displays posts. So, oldest products will be displayed when you add the following code at the end of your child themes functions.php (but before the closing ?> if any):

function my_products_order( $query ) {

	$post_type = $query->get( 'post_type' );

	if ( !is_admin() && $post_type == 'it_exchange_prod' ) {
		$query->set( 'order', 'asc' );
	}

}
add_filter( 'pre_get_posts' , 'my_products_order' );

that should do the trick,
Ronald

Hey Rob,

Version 1.7.22 of Exchange has just been released which allows you to change the order the products display on your store page.  You'll find this setting in Exchange > Settings.

You'll also see a Product Order option in the Advanced Options of your product.

This hasn't been added to the codex yet, but I wanted to let everyone know as soon as possible.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Elise
