Hi Mary,

Can you give me some additional details?  You said you were adjusting the settings so you could add categories to your products.  Does that mean this happened when you enabled the Product Categories add-on?  Do you have any of the other Exchange add-ons installed (like the Stripe add-on)?  What version of WordPress are you running?

Any additional information you have would be helpful.

Thanks,

Elise

I'm running the most recent version of Wordpress, and, yes, I was enabling the Product Categories add-on.

I haven't downloaded any other Exchange  programs yet either.

I would just disable the add-on if I could, but I can't access my wordpress site at all anymore.

Hi Mary,

You can access your site via FTP, delete or rename the Exchange plugin you'll find in wp-content/plugins/ and then see if your site comes back up.  If it does, please try testing for a plugin conflict.  To do that, you'd deactivate all of your plugins and then either reinstall or change the name back then enable the Product Categories add-on.  If it works correctly and you don't get the error, start reactivating your other plugins one at a time to see which one is creating the conflict.  You can also check to see if the conflict is theme related by temporarily activating one of the WordPress default themes like Twenty Fourteen.

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Elise
