Hi there.

I am in the process of moving a site from shopp to exchange.
FWIW, you can see the original site here: http://twostardesign.com

The site that is under construction is here: http://berry-interesting.com/twostardesign/

There seems to be something wrong with exchange, but I haven't quite narrowed it down yet. There are several things happening:
#1. when I try to access the following, I get no content whatsoever, even though I have items in my cart:
http://berry-interesting.com/twostardesign/quilt-shop/shopping-cart/
http://berry-interesting.com/twostardesign/quilt-shop/checkout/

#2. when I attempt to add a product to my cart, it seems like nothing happens:
a. go here: http://berry-interesting.com/twostardesign/quilt-shop/product-catalog/
b. click any product's "view details" - for writing out this ticket, i went here: http://berry-interesting.com/twostardesign/product-catalog/daffodils/
c. click "add to cart" - nothing happens.
d. when I refreshed the page, suddenly my cart appeared. awesome, right? but...
e. click "view cart" it doesn't take me to the cart, it takes me here: http://berry-interesting.com/twostardesign/quilt-shop/product-catalog/ ... same thing happens if i click "checkout: from that view.

Some background... I originally wanted to leave all of the store pages as Exchange pages - but when I would try to visit them, they would all go here http://berry-interesting.com/twostardesign/quilt-shop/product-catalog/. So i went through and manually made WordPress pages for them using the shortcodes... so now while I can visit the page itself, I can't actually get any content to come up on them (as described in item #1 above)

I'm feeling a little lost.

thanks for any help you can give me!

You need to go to the exchange page setting and select the way exchange is handling those pages. Entering the shortcode per page is not enough for items to appear.

go  to exchange>settings> click on the "pages" tab located on the far right. You can set the values there as to how exchange is handling the pages.
You will see 3 options;
exchange
wordpress
disabled

once you pick wordpress you select the co-responding page in wordpress on your site that you have nested the shortcode in.

This should fix the problem.....I had the same thing happen to me :)
However it still did not fix my disappearing store menu button issue.

Hi D'Nelle,

Adding an item to the cart works fine for me on your site.  Have you already gotten that cleared up?  Or is it still not working for you?

I am getting the 404 pages for the cart.  When you still had the pages set to the Exchange page type, did they work for you?  Can you send me admin log in information so I can take a look at how everything is set up?  You can PM it to me here on the forum or email it to me at elise@ithemes.com.  Just be sure to include a link to this post so I know what the message is in regards to.

Thanks,

Elise

Resolved offline.

Updating to Exchange version 1.7.25 corrected the issue with the cart page.
