Hi there -
This is a small little question - not a priority at all but I'd like to get it taken care of.
It seems that the password for my iThemes member account and my password for membership in the community forum are not the same.

What's happening is that when I try to log in to the forum directly, it tells me that my password is incorrect. So, I have to go to the ithemes member area, log in, and then click "support". There are two ways this happens:

1. I visit the support forum first. attempt to log in, and fail. I then visit the ithemes member area, log in, and then use that dashboard to click through to the support forum and I'm logged in.

2. I visit the ithemes members area first and log in successfully. I use the dashboard to click thorugh to the support forum and I'm NOT logged in, so I go BACK to the members area and click through the link to the support forum AGAIN and I'm logged in.

IN ALL INSTANCES, when I attempt to change/update my password in the support forum, it tells me that the password I'm entering as my current password is incorrect, so I can never change it so that I can log DIRECTLY into the support forum.

It wouldn't bother me too much except that with the current build I'm doing i'm checking the forum quite a bit, and the session expires pretty frequently and it's getting to be pretty annoying to have to go back to the ithemes member area to log in and click BACK to the forums.

Anyone have any ideas on how to be able to log DIRECTLY into the support forums?

Thanks so much :)

D'nelle

Hi,

try changing the password in your membership page (http://ithemes.com/member/), it should then be synced with the forum password, and you should(!) be good to go.

Sadly that did not help. I'd tried that before, just tried it again... no dice :(

Hi,

can you send me an e-mail (ronald@ithemes.com) with your username and desired password, and I will manually change them,
