Hi

I'm not sure if it's "reccomended" or simply a suggestion on one aspect of securing a wordpress install, but several security plugins do this including the iThemes Security plugin. This name change has been known to cause some problems with some plugins, and I am wondering how (or if) BUB can migrate a site which has renamed the wp-content folder?

If it causes problems, perhaps someone from the iThemes Security group and advise if renaming wp-content is actually an important security consideration, or just something that is icing on the cake. If the latter, then it doesn't matter if BUB can handle it or not.

Cheers
Shane

Hi Shane,

BackupBuddy can handle it through it will still store some temporary files with the backup information in this location to have a known location for such temporary files on restore. It will still work though.

Thanks,
