Hi there,
I bought a product from my site www.bbi-design.co.uk  this morning to test out the process. But I have not yet received an email notification of this order. It is also not listed on the payments page. Why is this? I am set up with Paypal secure, paid as a guest on the site, but with my Paypal account.
Thanks.

Hi Julie,

I get a 404 page when I follow the link you provided for your site.  Can you please let me know the correct URL so I can take a look?

Does it show in PayPal that the transaction has cleared?  Do you have PayPal Sandbox mode enabled?

Any additional information would be helpful.

Thanks,

Elise

Hi there, sorry, typo, www.bibi-design.co.uk
I don't have Sandbox installed, don't really understand what it is. I get a confirmation email from Paypal and money has gone through, just nothing in my list of orders or an address where to send order! Thanks.

Hi Julie,

It looks like you're running version 1.7.0 of Exchange.  The latest version is 1.7.25.  Can you try updating and then see if that corrects the issue?

Give that a try and let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

Elise

I have updated the version of i-themes exchange. I've also created  a Sandbox account, but I have no idea how to test payments and seem to be going round and round. Can you suggest how I go about testing?

Thanks.

Hi Julie,

Check out this tutorial video for help setting up Sandbox Mode in Exchange:  http://ithemes.com/tutorials/creating-a-paypal-sandbox-test-account/  If you have any additional questions after watching the video, just let us know.

Can you check with your host and see if they are blocking the out going email?  The email is generated by Exchange but is actually sent by the host.  So check with them and then let us know what they say.

Thanks,

Elise
