Using Exchange Without Buy Option

I am contemplating using your Exchange program, and was wondering if using Exchange without a Buy option, basically using it as just a catalog, were possible?

I saw MarketPress eCommerce does something similar with a "Product Listing Only" option, and since I use Builder and many of its plugins, I would prefer to use Exchange instead.

Hi Henry,

Exchange does not  have this option currently.  You can deactivate all of your payment gateway options, but that does not remove the Buy Now button, they just can't complete the purchase.  

If you feel comfortable doing so, you are more than welcome to edit the Exchange code to suit your needs, but that would be beyond the scope of this forum.

Thanks for the quick response. This is a slightly different subject, but I don't want to show the prices on SOME of my items since they are custom, but would rather display "Call for Quote."

Is that an option? Or are all items requiring a price?
