In working with the new ability to change the order of items in the Store, I see that "Product ID" is listed as one of the sorting methods (in Exchange General Settings).

However, after looking all over, I don't see a Product ID field listed anywhere when adding/editing a product.

Am I just missing it somewhere?

Thanks!

Hi jblortz,

The Product ID is controlled by WordPress, which is why you don't see the field listed anywhere.  You'll find it in the URL when you are editing the product.

Ah... Ok, Thanks Elise.

Was kind of hoping this was an ID that I could manually assign. But it's no big deal.

Hi jblortz,

There are other options.  For instance, you'll see in the Advanced options of your product a Store Order option.  There, you can number the products in the order you'd like them to appear.  Also using Store Order along with the Simple Page Ordering plugin (not an iThemes plugin), you can drag and drop the products into the order you'd like them to appear.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Elise
