Hi there,
I have a simple product I'm setting up. I can select the price and payment options on the front end, make my payment via stripe. After entering my card info, I can see that exchange is processing payment, after it does, it recirects the user to a 404 page.

Please advise.

THanks

Hi Alex,

Can you please (always :)) provide us with the URL where this is happening so we can take a look?

Is the confirmation page an Exchange page or did you set it to a WordPress page type?  If it's still set to the Exchange page type, you might try the WordPress page type instead.  To do this, you'd create a regular page.  In Exchange > Settings > Pages, change the page type for the Confirmation page to WordPress and select the page you just created.  Copy the shortcode provided and paste it into the Confirmation page that you created.

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.  And if you can provide a URL for us to look at, that will help too.

Thanks,

Elise

Hey Elise,
Thanks for the tip. Here's teh URL: https://digisavvy.com/product/website-audit/  The URL that showed up was digisavvy.com/transaction. When I look at the Pages setup in Exchange, they are all set to exchange. But I didn't see something that matched to /transaction. If you can let me know what to set there for the page that would be rad.

Hi Alex,

The page you'd want to change to the WordPress page type would be Purchase Confirmation.

Give that a try and let me know if that fixes it.

Thanks,

Elise

Hi there,
Okay, so that seemed to help and got me going. However, when paying via paypal, an issue comes up once you've completed the transaction: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rl18wckj1reoffs/Screenshot%202014-05-09%2000.19.39.png - The admin gets notifications from exchange and paypal, as does the user. WordPress registers the sale, too. Just not sure why that error appears.

Stripe payments seem to work fine, too, and without the issue above. So that's some progress.

Hi Alex,

Which PayPal are you using?  PayPal Standard Basic or PayPal Standard Secure?  If you're using Secure, are you still using Sandbox Mode?  Can you try a live payment instead of Sandbox and then see if it works properly?

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Elise
