Hi,

I want to use the Carter theme and Builder in one of my projects, however i want to be able to create a child theme for Carter - is it possible to create a child theme and have the Masonry functionality still work?

If so i'd like to make the purchase.

Thanks in advance,
Nick.

Hi Nick,

using a child theme with a Builder theme will not affect any functionality whatsoever. In fact, Builder will prompt you to create a custom child theme upon theme activation, it is the way Builder is supposed to work, and NOT using a child theme is highly discouraged. You may want to watch the video tutorials on installing and activating Builder themes here:  http://ithemes.com/tutorial/category/builder/

hope that clarifies,
Ronald

Hi Ronald,

I have another question.

We are using AngularJS on a development site and we'd like to bring in the menu from the main site in to the Wordpress blog. Are there any issues you can think of that would stop us from using AngularJS to re-create the navigation using Builder and the Carter theme in particular? If we were to buy the software and cannot get the menu working upon your advice (if it should indeed work) - can we claim a refund?

Thanks in advance,
Nick.

Hi Ronald,

Another question for you.

We want to include an AngularJS based menu navigation, will this be a problem once we add it to the Builder framework and, in particular, using the Carter theme? I'm just curious to know if there are any conflicts etc and of course i don't know how Builder and Carter are built, so i wouldn't know if it's 100% possible to include an AngularJS based Navigation and database connectivity.

Regards,
Nick.
