when a user enters his shipping adres, the validation wants the country name in English.
Nobody will conclude this when the site is run on a non  English site.

Also in Belgium there is no such thing as a 'State' because the country IS the state.
Still, validations insist something to be put there...
But nowbody will never know what to put there.  Rendering your plugin unusable.

So please don't validate these fields, just check if something is entered and remove state.

Hi Chris,

While I know that there are people who have worked on translations of Exchange, I'm not sure if there someone has worked on a Dutch (or whatever language it is that you're needing) version.  A translation of Exchange should correct this issue.  Hopefully, if someone has worked on a Dutch translation, they will post here.  You might also post in the Exchange forum on the WordPress repository to see if someone responds about a translation there.  

You can remove the state field in the shipping address form by editing the template files, however, since it is a required field, the form errors out.  This has already been listed as a bug, but I do not have a timeline for when a fix will become available.
