Hi,

I'm interested in buying BackupBuddy, but I have a question. If I have an existing live site, and I transfer the site to a local server for development. Can I transfer the updates back to the live site? Or do I have to delete the whole site, drop tables, and reinstall from the backup?

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

BackupBuddy doesn't "merge" sites, migrating a site to a new location means migrating the site. So going from a dev location to the live site would be migrating the entire dev site (minus exclusions) to the new location.

Thanks,
