I am looking to customize the way products are shown on the store main page.  Two columns just won't cut it.

Problem is, I can't find where to edit this page layout.

Also, I want to use a different template for displaying the item itself.  It keeps displaying on the template page with the side bar.  I want to use the full width templatye.

Any assistance would be great.

Hi StarFishDevelopers,

There isn't an option to change the number of columns that appear on the store page.  If you provide us with the URL of the site and how many columns you'd like instead, we can help you create the CSS needed.

The actual layout of the page (sidebar versus full width) is determined by your theme.  Exchange will use the default layout of your theme.  If you are using Builder, you can use Builder Views to assign a different layout to the Exchange pages.

Let us know your site URL and we can help with the css for the columns on your store page.

Store is at http://jjfisher.com/testing/mgellis/gellisacupuncture.com/store/

We want 1 column, full width of the text area.

I figured out the CSS issue.  Where should I store the edited CSS to keep it from being overwritten with the next Exchange update?

Hey StarfishTrainers,

Glad you were able to figure out the CSS.

In order to keep your CSS from being overwritten with the next Exchange update, you'll create a directory named exchange in your child theme.  Add your custom styles to a file called style.css and then upload it into the exchange directory you created in your child theme.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Can someone post how this was solved, please? I am trying to re-order into two columns on the store page.
