Those are my questions.

Is there not some way to stick one or more products into a widget, to bring into a page or post?

Or an automated way to select elements of a product (title, price, image) and have them appear on a page or post?

Or is there any other way that I could, on an ad hoc basis, or by use of tags or categories, show various products on a given page or post?

I am hoping to use Builder:Air for this. I seem to have a gap in understanding how Exchange can integrate with pages or posts effectively.

Hi oly_design,

There's not an automated way in Exchange to display products on pages outside of the Store page.  There is a widget for the Product Categories that you can add to any widget area, but it will just display the actual category names, not the products.

You might try using something like LoopBuddy to accomplish this.  This blog post shows how to create a custom Store page using LoopBuddy and you could do something similar to add to a widget area:  http://ithemes.com/2014/04/22/creating-custom-store-page-loopbuddy-ithemes-exchange/

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Elise
