I have two blogs with different topics which I want to incorporate into one personal brand site using Flexx professional. Is this possible if I set up a static, non-blog home page? Would I need to have multiple installations of wordpress (i.e., xxx.com/whatever, xxx.com/whatever3, etc.) and if so could I link to the separate subdomains using the built-in menu builder? Or could I use a different category for each blog and have the navigation take me to pages with different sidebars? So I could have one set of sidebars for category 1 blog posts and another set of sidebars for category 2 blog posts? Could I make this question more confusing?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Allegra

Hi,

It's definitely possible, and not really a theme related question, but a WordPress capabilities question. I would go for category templates,

Ronald

Hi Ronald,

Thanks for the quick response! I thought it was theme-related because I didn't see a link on the menu builder to be able to create links to external websites. And I thought that was the only way to change the sidebars, to have a new installation. If it will involve lots of messing with CSS, I'll skip that and stick to the theme as-is. It's just so purty!

I'll go check the wordpress site!

Have a powerful week!

Allegra
