Where is this plugin once activated?

it will sit quietly in the background, until you click the (default WordPress) add theme or plugin link. It will then take over and what it's supposed to do (quietly in the background again).

Manage Licenses</a> Plugin up to date. No key set or invalid. Manage your license for automatic upgrades. I have previously send a support messagea with the response below:
Thank you for being patient. We are currently having an issue with the upgrading system and are working on a fix at this moment. You can you use the easy themes and plugin updater found here. You will just have to re-download the newest version of the theme/plugin you want to update, then upload and select "yes" when it asks upgrade existing theme/plugin.
I tried this but the process failed.
How can I update the plugins to the higher versions. I have the licenses but they don't update.

BackUpBuddy was unsuccessful to update to the new version 1.2.18. I followed the instructions except the last point of requesting a new license using the general plugin page.
So you should:
- De-activate ALL PluginBuddy plugins
- Download the latest versions of the plugins from your <a class="text external" href="../member/member.php/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">members area</a>.
- Upload these to your server, either (recommended) using the <a class="text external" href="../a-better-faster-way-to-upgrade-themes/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Easy Theme and Plugin updater plugin</a> (<a class="text external" href="http://new.gaarai.com/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades.zip" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">download link</a>), which will create a backup of the existing plugin - just in case -
or using FTP (in which case you need to unzip the plugins first) and then upload the entire plugin folder with contents to the <tt>wp-content/plugins/</tt> folder. Note, REMOVE the old versions of the plugin first, or RENAME the existing plugin folder.
- Then re-activate the PluginBuddy plugins, and request a new license using the general plugin page.
