An example of what I mean is http://www.fastcreative.com or http://www.smashingmagazine.com
(As opposed to the Flexx theme which is a fixed width)
Also, how does Builder compare to Thesis for SEO?

Colin-
Both of the sites shown are using background images to give the illusion of 100% width, and yes Builder can do that.
As far as SEO, we have optimized this theme, as well as included hooks within the theme to if you want to do custom SEO depending on the kind of site you have.
