Love this theme but I have a few questions.
1 - when I change a page template nothing changes even after a browser refresh
2 - when I use the text widget the same text appears on evey page, how can I have it appear on only one page
3 - how can I customize each page layout
note I am not the developer type

you can create page templates to change the layout for pages, more here and here,
We generally recommend the widget logic plugin to have full control over which widgets appear where, check it out,
