Free BackupBuddy Online Training Jan. 19

If you’ve worked on or with technology long enough, you know what is perhaps Golden Rule Numero Uno: always, always, ALWAYS backup your stuff. This applies especially to web sites.

Think of running your WordPress site like driving a car and back-up like a seatbelt: you can be the safest, most focused driver in the world – 100% on your driver test, no speeding tickets, etc.

All it takes is a slick road or a negligent driver and suddenly tires are screeching, brakes are squealing and you and the airbag are sharing a very intimate moment. If you don’t have that seatbelt securely in place, there’s no telling what will be left of you when the smoke clears.

We developed BackupBuddy to keep your site from becoming potential road kill on the information superhighway (now there’s an early 2000s throwback reference).

BackupBuddy is more than just the ultimate safety belt. It not only saves your site, it helps you restore and migrate it too.

We’re offering a free BackupBuddy training webinar Wednesday, January 19 at 11 a.m. because a seatbelt only works when you know how to use it properly.

  1. I prefer to think of BackupBuddy as being more like the Batmobile…that way, when there are impending accidents, the Batmobile (or is that 2 words?) whisks me up and out of the fray…on to save another day. :)

  2. Haha, yeah, the analogy wasn’t perfect – seat belts don’t help much with bringing you back from the dead (restoration) or moving around (migration) but they are safe. And that’s what BackupBuddy is – safety to a “T”.
