Introducing Panda – live chat at iThemes

We rolled out live chat for sales and non-technical questions over a month ago (just silently at first) on all three iThemes brand family websites.

Have you spotted Panda yet?

He’ll be “hanging out” on the upper right hand corner on the home pages of iThemes.com, PluginBuddy.com, and WebDesign.com, ready to help.

Does Panda do support?

Nope. But you can find our robust support forum here : ithemes.com/support

Panda can help with:

  • sales (upgrades, needing to renew your membership, customer loyalty discounts and coupons)
  • information about accessing your account
  • basic questions about our products
  • questions about resources (webinars, download links, etc.)

What have we learned from Panda so far?

We take a serious look at your questions and needs.  We want to always fine-tune our customer experience, so Panda gives us the opportunity to listen more closely. If things are confusing, we want to change them.

In fact, our recently-launched trials.ithemes.com has met an often-heard request of try-before-you buy. We often hear questions about how themes and plugins work, so now we can offer a test-drive.

So, why the Panda?

Who doesn’t love a panda? We love our mascots here at iThemes, but badgers are just too persnickety–believe us on this one.
