This morning (Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012) we discovered a security issue with all of our product ZIP files affecting customers who downloaded theme and plugins from our member’s area from Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 until Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at 10 a.m. Central Standard Time.
This affected approximately 300 customers and we’re emailing those customers directly with information on how to fix the issue.
We take security seriously at iThemes. Once we were alerted to the issue, key developers, support team and others were rapidly working on the issue to contain and remedy it for customers.
We apologize for this and are working now to assist customers with any issues because of this event.
