Attent, a New Minimalistic Builder Child Theme for Bloggers

Introducing Attent, the latest Builder child theme designed for bloggers. Attent features a minimalistic design and a simple color scheme. With several alternate module styles like a built-in mobile nav and full window images, Attent is one of our favorite additions to the Builder child theme library.

Circular Featured Images + Simple Post Meta Data

New to Builder child themes, Attent features circular featured images.Circles-Attent

In addition to the circular featured images, Attent also simplifies the post meta data by only displaying the title, publishing date and “read more” link. Divider

Built-in Mobile Navigation

Choose from two alternate module styles: Default and Mobile Navigation.

The Mobile Navigation module will activate (yep, you guessed it!) the built-in mobile nav that automatically expands to display menu items.

HTML Module

Attent features a background color style for Builder’s HTML Module. Use it to add color blocks of text to your layouts like the demo’s Full Width Layout, like here, below the navigation.

  1. Looks fantastic guys! I know the circular featured images are going to be something I’ll implement in the future – and those full-width images are huge, too.

So glad to hear you guys are safe!

  2. Love the framework but not impressed with the theme(s). It’s not wide enough. Looks old school at 780 wide. I get that the width is adjustable in Builder. But why would you set up the demo up this way? Doesn’t make me want to have that theme.

The framework is great but the themes are weak. I hear this all the time when I speak to other designers. Love the studiopress themes but hate their framework… (sigh).

I hope some day the ithemes child themes will get better. Then I won’t have to go to Genesis for sleek style.
