We’re hosting our first ever Twitter Chat! We’ll be chatting about WordPress Security. We want the entire WP community in on this one, and there are lots of you on Twitter. The chat will be moderated by iThemes and Chris Wiegman, our WordPress Security Expert. The goal of #SecurityChat is to share best practices, experiences and get the tough questions answered.
When: May 21st from 11am. Duration is approximately one hour.
What: It’s a Twitter Chat! You can join in and follow along from wherever you like to access Twitter. Just be sure to use #SecurityChat when searching or posting during the Twitter Chat.
Where: Log in to Twitter from your favorite place. Join us from your computer, phone or tablet. Just use the hashtag #SecurityChat to comment, ask questions, etc.
Why: WordPress security can be confusing and tough to navigate. We’ll have our Security Expert, Chris Wiegman, answering your questions. We’ll chat about several topics including: Heartbleed/SSL, deployments and security monitoring. Have a question ahead of time? Tweet them to us or post in the comments below.
How: To participate, all you have to do is include #SecurityChat in your tweets. To follow the live tweets, you can put #SecurityChat in your Twitter search and follow along. Or you can use a tool like TweetChat to make it even easier to participate.
