Quickly Duplicate WordPress Pages & Posts, Delete Post Revisions – New in Sync

We’re excited to announce two new time-saving WordPress post and page management features are now available in the iThemes Sync dashboard.

New WordPress Post & Page Management Options

Quickly Duplicate WordPress Pages & Posts pro

Currently, a “duplicate” option isn’t available for posts or pages in the WordPress dashboard. Why would a “duplicate” action be useful? Say you use a similar outline or formatting structure for the content of multiple posts or pages. Now you can duplicate existing WordPress pages and posts without having to create an entirely new one and manually copying content out of the post/page. Sync will handle the entire page or post duplication process for you. 1. From the individual site view in your Sync dashboard, visit the Posts & Pages tab. Hover over any site in the list and you’ll find a “Duplicate” link. 2. By clicking the “Duplicate” link, you will be automatically logged in to the site and directed to a duplicated post ready to be edited. The title will be the same, but with “(copy)” appended to the end.

Delete Post Revisions pro

On a WordPress site that actively blogs, makes changes, etc., post revisions can quickly build up. Now you can remove all your post revisions with one click. Again, from the Posts & Pages tab in the individual site view, you’ll find a new “Delete Post Revisions” button at the top of the screen. Click the “Delete Post Revisions” button to remove all existing post revisions on your WordPress site. We’re currently on more WordPress optimization actions for Sync, so stay tuned!
