New! Community-Suggested Improvements for iThemes Sync

Throughout this year we have been actively engaging with customers to understand them better. One thing we heard often was how confusing our iThemes Sync plans were. We heard issues like:

• Do you have a plan for fewer sites?
• Do you have a monthly payment option?
• What if I want to try Sync Pro before I buy?

Out of all of these issues, the biggest one we heard by far was, What is the difference between Sync Standard and Sync Pro? Today, we are excited to announce that we’re simplifying our Sync plans and offering you Sync Pro as the best WordPress and WooCommerce management service! Our mission at iThemes is the same as it was 11 years ago: We create tools to make people’s lives awesome. And this update continues to push us down this path.

How We Used Your Feedback to Improve Sync

To eliminate the confusion between Sync Standard vs. Pro, we are merging Sync Standard and Pro to provide plans and pricing that are more straight-forward. Going forward, we will only offer Sync Pro to new subscribers. Along with merging Sync Standard and Sync Pro, we are offering a new 5 site Sync Pro plan. The new Sync Pro 5 site plan will also include a 30-day free trial, so you can try before you buy. All Sync Pro plans now have monthly and annual subscription options.

New Sync Pro Pricing and Plans

What do these changes mean for current Sync customers?

Current customers will continue on their current plan and to receive bug fixes and security patches, but new features will be reserved for Sync Pro customers. If you’d like to upgrade your current Sync Standard plan to one of the new Sync Pro plans, our account services team can help. Contact our account services team now. Sync Pro users will automatically renew at the new reduced price.

New Quality of Life Improvements for iThemes Sync

Along with the changes to the Sync plans, we added several usability improvements to Sync.

Improved Onboarding Experience

If you are new to Sync, you will have a friendlier experience adding your first site to Sync.

Enroll Sites in Uptime Monitoring + Create Monthly Reports During Setup

When connecting a site from Sync, you now have the option to enroll the site in Uptime Monitoring and to create a new monthly report schedule.

Duplicate Existing Report Schedules

You can now duplicate an existing report schedule to use on a new site.

Fix For Search Field & Password Manager Autofill

We also implemented a change to prevent password managers from mistakenly entering Sync usernames into the search field on the Sync dashboard.
