Mastermind groups are a group of people dedicated to helping each other, offering mutual support, accountability and experience sharing.
I’ll be interviewing freelancer Curtis McHale, who recently started his own mastermind group with some fellow freelance web designers on Sept. 4 at 2 p.m. Central. We’ll talk about tips for starting your own and how to leverage the power of a mastermind group in your business and life.

By the way, Curtis is also releasing a book soon on how to run a viable freelance business that I did a video interview for recently.

This sounds great! Wish it wasn’t at 5am in my time zone though 🙂 Will it be available afterwards? Thanks.
What a fun name – “Mastermind groups”. It rings true, though, because when there are several people with different experiences and skills willing to share with others, then you have a mastermind group.
Needless to say, it will definitely help your freelance web design business along.
I run an international mastermind group for front-end and back-end web developers. 6 people max helping each other on various topics, using Google Hangout.

Starting freelancing career is not an easy task for newbies. Joining in such groups and help of free E-books seems beneficial.
I have been part of two masterminds in the past two years and they’ve been extremely powerful in pushing me do what I knew I needed to do with my business. Sometimes we get so hung up in the day to day – it truly helps us step back and take a look at the big picture. I’ve been working on helping others do the same at http://www.loveyourfreelancing.com
