Hi,

I am looking for a theme to purchase which would allow me to closely follow the format of a particular website:

www.researchsolutions.com

I am leaning toward the Deep Order theme, but wondered if the theme can be altered so that the "Buy Now" button can be made to read "Order Now," and whether the home page can be set up with an image rotator (slider) which would display custom images. I would appreciate any comments or advice. Thanks.

Jason

Hi,

Deep Order is one of our older themes, if the design and colours are 99% what you want, by all means, go for it. "Buy now" is just text, and with a little bit of hacking, with which we can assist, you can add an image rotator. However, many of the more recent WordPress features are not available in Deep Order. I would ask you to consider either a Builder child theme (all up to date and state of the art) or Flexxtheme. Both themes offer much more functionality and are actively being maintained and updated to stay on par with WordPress.

Just my 2 cents, but also honest advise,
Ronald

fyi, I just noticed that the purchase links in the Deep Order theme demos are not valid anymore. You can (should you want to!) purchase Deep Order via the iThemes site: http://ithemes.com/find/classic/
