I'm attempting to customize this page:

In particular, I'd like make the button here look like the rest of the buttons on the site, with no border and not so wide.

I found via firebug that this code will remove the border

.it-exchange-super-widget .it-exchange-sw-product, .it-exchange-super-widget .it-exchange-sw-processing {
  • border: 1px solid #F0F0F0;}

But when I added it to the bottom of my theme's css, nothing happened. I noticed that this code is from another CSS file.

I can't seem to access this via the plug-in editor, but if I could all my changes would be wiped out upon upgraded, right?
Do I create a new css file? If so where do I put it? Will I be able to access my new css file through the regular wordpress interface?

This is an exchange site using the membership plugin, if that helps.

Hi tee_na,

What you'll want to do is create a directory in your theme named exchange.  Then you'll create a file named style.css that you'll add your changes to and upload into your new directory.  You won't be able to access the file through Appearance > Editor, but it won't be overwritten when you update.

Try adding this code to your new style.css file and see if that does the trick for you:

.it-exchange-sw-product.it-exchange-sw-processing-product {
border: 0px;

.buy-now-button {
width: 50%;

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.
