My website was recently hacked. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with the security breach that you all experienced as it was around the same time.
I want to update my BackupBuddy plug in as it is posting the following warnings:
ERROR checking update status:
There is a new version of BackupBuddy available. View version details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin
When I click on View version details it seems like a SPAM box. The information is for other plugins, not related to BackupBuddy. I've tried it several times.
I have also tried actively selecting "update" and it still doesn't work.
I've also tried to make a full backup and I'm getting an error message.
I tried to rest my password, but I didn't receive an email with reset instructions because I think I downloaded the plugin before there was a fee.
Have users been 'grandfathered' in or do we have to purchase the new $80 license to continue using BackupBuddy?
Are these issues related to being hacked or needing to upgrade to a purchased account?
