BackupBuddy Support & Development
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
A long, long time ago a little boy was fascinated by wiring electronic components together to listen to the radio stations of the World. Now he puts his skills to the work making software that works for people and helping them solve their problems when things don’t appear to do what they should. When not exercising his creativity in this way he enjoys tinkering with stuff and mending things. He lives in Edinburgh with his partner Christine where they pass the time exercising, cooking and watching quiz programme and films.
When it comes to website development, security was my major and design was minor.

When he wants to just clear his mind, he goes for a drive in his old Ford Roush Mustang GT.

Rebecca has been using WordPress since 2006, and has made it her career since 2008. Translating developer-speak into end-user language is her specialty, and she thrives on helping others understand how intuitive and simple using WordPress can be. Since 2018, she’s worked for iThemes providing support and documentation for various iThemes plugins, and she loves to hear from you - really! When she’s not working, she’s usually hanging out with her husband of over two decades, their teenage son, and their three cats...she's just one cat shy of her lifelong goal of "Official Cat Lady". Either that, or she’s teaching knitting classes, designing knitting patterns, or dyeing yarn and knitting with it – because what’s cooler than 3D math that yields a wearable object?

Matt got his start in the tech industry through HostGator, later working with sister EIG companies, making a move over to WP Engine and now bringing all his experience and skills to supporting BackupBuddy.

Jenny has been building websites for 15 years, specializing in WordPress for the last 10. This was not the initial plan, however. At the age of four, she had planned to be a zoologist after interacting with an escaped llama that had made its way to the suburban housing tract where she lived with her parents and younger brother. Life happened, and she discovered that web design was both creative and provided an opportunity to play around with another favorite thing: patterns and the spaces in between.
