In this session we’ll dive deep into the tools we need to set up to run our site. We’ll cover areas like hosting, setting up WordPress, configuring our site to send email properly, and discuss options that we need to consider as we look at using our site to build up our marketing efforts.

Email Marketing

In this session we’re going to talk about email marketing basics. We’ll discuss what it is, who some of the common companies are out there, what to look for in an email marketing provider and getting started with some basics around emailing people on your list. We’ll dive into some deeper topics like segmentation and automation.

Lead Generation

In this session we’re going to talk about how to generate leads and get people signed up to your email list. We’ll cover topics like building funnels, creating a welcome email series and more. We’ll also look at WordPress plugins and SaaS services that you can use to build out email opt-ins and add new subscribers to your list by interacting with your site. We’ll also tie this back in to our previous session on email marketing that will help us further learn about the segmentation and automation that you can do when you have the proper funnel set up.

Social Ads

Advertising is one of the quickest ways to get people interested in what you are offering. It can also be one of the most expensive. In this session we’ll take a look at Facebook and Instagram and how you can use these platforms to help you gain a competitive advantage over some of your competition by implementing an advertising campaign that will help you get more leads for your business.

In this session we’ll cover useful tips and tricks to help you quickly write content for your site. We’ll discuss writing for SEO, email, blogging, basic copywriting, and more. By the end you’ll have several processes, workflows, and tools you can use to get up to speed being able to write content for your site.

Using Video

In this session we’ll cover the power of video and how you can use it to effectively assist with your written content. We’ll discuss tips and tricks around what process you should use, what it takes to create video, and how you can use tools like Facebook Live, YouTube and more to help introduce your community to video.

In this session we’ll discuss what it looks like to publish your content. We’re talking specifically about how we can use and reuse content you’ve written in other mediums to help spread the content you’re spending time and money on. We’ll discuss strategies to help you make sure you are publishing regularly in a variety of formats to help keep your community coming back for more.

Is this course right for me?
This course is ideal for people who already use dms Builder to build sites for clients already but want to take it to the next level. To take this course, you'll need a basic knowledge of WordPress and dms Builder (this is not a dms Builder for beginners or "101" course).This course is for anyone building or maintaining websites, including freelancers, website developers, marketers and agencies, and has worked with dms Builder before.
What is the format of this course?
We use the online webinar format to host our online training events. All instruction is given live and in real-time, along with an interactive webinar chat for attendees to ask questions and interact with other attendees.
How do the live webinars work?
Before the first webinar, you'll need to download the GoToWebinar launcher software for your computer. You'll receive several email reminders before each session begins with a link to join the live webinar. We'll let you know about the live webinar chat URL before the webinars begin so you can join the live discussion with other attendees.
What if I can't make the live webinars?
To really get the most out of this training, we recommend blocking off time in your schedule to attend the live training sessions. If you can't make any or all of the live webinars, attendees still get the webinar replay video and course downloads to watch and learn at your convenience.
What happens after I make my purchase?
