With the Manual Purchases Add-on for iThemes Exchange, you can now add purchases to new or existing customers.
To add products to a customer, you can go to Users and then click the Add Product(s) link by the user you’d like to add the product to or you can go to Exchange > Payments and click the Add New button.
If you go through the Payments screen, you’ll first select your customer by entering the username of an existing customer or you’ll create a new customer, giving them a username, entering their email address, first and last name and then either allow WordPress to generate a password for the user or set the password manually.
You can select the product or products you’d like to add to the customer. You can filter your products by product type or use the search products option to find the product you’d like to add.
Lastly, you’ll set the total paid amount. Exchange will automatically generate the product’s price, however, you can change that to whatever you’d like. For instance, if you are giving the product to a customer, you can change the total paid amount to zero.
When you’ve successfully added a product to a client, they should receive an email receipt and will then see the product on their purchases page.
