Joe Dolson has been working in web development since 2004, and started programming for WordPress in 2008. He got his start on the web by diving feet first into issues for people with disabilities out of a desire to make people's lives better on the web. His accessibility consultancy, Joe Dolson Accessible Web Design, helps organizations make their websites more usable by people with disabilities. As a member of the WordPress Accessibility Team, he works to promote accessible site building and design in the WordPress community. He teaches a course at LinkedIn Learning, "Accessibility for WordPress" and speaks at a wide variety of conferences on web accessibility.
